Hello support team,

My TM Lookup window completely disappeared after minimizing. None of the solutions mentioned earlier (as listed in my subject line) seem to work, and I do not see any way to return to some sort of default view. It is gone.

When I click on TM Lookup under Translation, the place where it should be kind of winks, but does not change.

Please tell me how to get the TM Lookup window back.

Thank you very much.

Hi Samuel,
my bad, as usual, I was not reading carefully and did not realize Itziar and you were talking about Wordfast Classic and I about WFP.
Sorry about that...

Thanks a lot, Wolfgang and Samuel, for your replies!

I have already changed to this new way of saving: Ctrl+Alt+T on the source term and, then, doing the same with the target term. That works .
BUT now, I'm having a new problem: When I add a comment in the Comment box, this is not saved in the txt.
Even if I add it in the txt directly, I cannot see it in the drop-down list that appears for choosing one of the target terms already saved in the glossary.
Any clues?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Itziar

Did you try the usual: restart Wf (do you use Pro or Classic? Which version?), restart the computer? Did you do a search for the symptoms?

This would not work in my version of WFC, because in MS Word one can only highlight (i.e. select) one piece of text at a time. Which version of WFC and Word are you using, that allows you to do this? [/quote]

Aren’t multiple selections possible in newer versions of MS Word, by pressing a
modifier key while selecting?

Every time I finish a job in the editor view, I have to click on the drop-down menu to either go to project files or current project. It seems like a lot of mousing that I don't have to do another programs. Is it really this way, or am I missing something? It would be great to have a keyboard shortcut to get where I want to go.

Are you using Wordfast Classic (and if so, which version, and which version of Word), or Wordfast Pro 3, or Wordfast Pro 5?

It works. By the way, I'm using WFP's 5. Thanks for the solution.

Hi
I'd like to use WFP5 more than I do currently, but there are to many important (for me) features still missing. So if those requested recently will be implemented in the upcoming upgrade, when can we expect this update?

Where were they requested? Or, where is a list of these "recently requested" features? Do the WFP5 developers give any insights anywhere about which features they're working on for the next release?

That is a good question. They're already 3 months overdue (if you take past performance as a guideline).

Requests for feature implementation were send partly on the list and partly directly to developers.

For a start, here is what I requested. Answer from developers was that several of these point were already on their list:
- Remove the short time delay when clicking and holding on a selection for drag and drop
- The Terminology window is way to small, should be detachable
- ALT+F12 should insert selected source word(s) at target segment cursor position not at the end of the segment
- Make selection of multiple segments possible
- Shortcut to confirm (OK) the „Add term“ window without having to use the mouse (or: how do I give immediate focus to the OK button without using the mouse or having to tap tab key twice)
- Make pop-up of Help bubbles optional, globally, it’s extremely unnerving
- Pinning active segment in the middle of the grid
- Export of sdlppx files as sdlrpx

Widening files in a table

Wordfast Classic - Microsoft Word 2010 - I am translating an Annual Report of a Bank, I have scanned it to word 2010. There are many tables with too small letters/numbers, I use: mouse - right click - properties of table - file - minimum, and then the file enlarges. My problem: it works only file by file. How can I apply it to the entire table? I've selected the entire table, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Select the whole table and move the mouse over the table, click right and select Table settings, choose Row and click on the box to set the height to minimum. I have a Finnish version of Word 365, so I don't know where those commands are in your version, but it has worked for whole tables since at least Word 2002. Very common function when working with WFC.

Sorry: I wrote "File" when it should have been "row" - (my Microsoft Word is in Spanish, and in Spanish a "Row" is a "Fila") - .I wrote "File" for tne Spanish "Fila".
Thank you very much, for your answer - I have based myself on it and got in a first attempt very good results
