Post title: Close the unwanted "companion" window
Mark: you have inadvertently/unwillingly enabled the "TM companion" feature. You most likely intended to press Ctrl+Al+M (Display TM), but pressed the M key twice. Ctrl+Alt+M+M is what triggers the TM companion window. Put the focus on said window and press the same combination again, this should close the window. Press Ctrl, Alt, keep them down, then press M twice in a row, in a rapid succession.
There is also a "terminology companion" and a "QA companion", triggered by Ctrl+Alt+G+G and Ctrl+Alt+Q+Q, respectively. If you inadvertently/unwillingly open them, you can close them in the same way.
