Wordfast used to place source text in translated file when target was empty, now it doesn't?

I have used Wordfast Pro for many years, mostly for the benefits of the segmentation and side-by-side view (there aren't many TM matches in the texts I work on).

I recently updated to 3.3 and discovered a problem. I used to skip all segments that were in the target language already or did not need to be translated (emails, addresses, etc...). When I used "save translated file", Wordfast would simply place the source text in the document whenever the target segment was empty.

Suddenly Wordfast is skipping some of these segments entirely—seemingly at random. I'd say about 20 percent of them just go missing.

I tried rolling back to the previous version of Wordfast and found that I still had the new problem.

These are mostly docx files, but also older versions of word documents. I can't find any common threads between the source segments that get skipped.

If anyone has experienced something similar or has a solution/workaround, I'd be very grateful!
