You do not provide much background information about your problem and your setup. Because you're talking about the "DEMO", I'll assume it's not Wordfast Anywhere. Because you're talking about projects, I'll assume it's not Wordfast Classic. You are therefore probably using Wordfast Pro. I have no idea what version (but I'll guess 3.2.2) and what platform (let's guess again: Windows). What is the extension of the file you translated? It should be something like .docx.txml, .ppt.txml etc. What function did you use to save the translated file? It should have been File > Save Translated File. What file were you supplied by your client? Only the original source document (.docx, .ppt etc.), only the TXML, or both? If you were only supplied the TXML, you cannot create the translated version of the original document. What you can do, however, is send back the translated TXML. That's probably what's expected of you, in fact.
For your information, running Wordfast Pro in demo mode or in full version mode makes no difference at all when it comes to saving the translated file. What does matter is having the original source document on disk: as I said above, without it you cannot save the translated file.
