Wordfast Anywhere relies on Ajax, like Gmail. It therefore doesn't have to move a lot of data back and forth and should be rather efficient (like Gmail). If you're concerned about it, the best would be to try it on a plan that doesn't cost much. The problem is isolating bandwidth consumption related to Wordfast Anywhere from the rest (for instance, a typical Windows laptop moves quite a lot of data even if it seems to be doing nothing).
