Post title:"dirty" = "unclean" = bilingual

Your client probably wants a bilingual file so that they can update their TM. A translated TXML is bilingual by design, so if they can read that (apparently they can, since it was included in your list), you don’t have to export anything: just send them the TXML you translated.

"unclean" often refers to the Word bilingual document produced by Wordfast Classic or Trados Workbench (the "old" Trados). If this is what they are using, you can also produce such a document with Wordfast Pro. Select File > Save as and pick up "WFC bilingual" as the file type. There are three variants of "WFC bilingual", depending on what you want to include in that file. Again, a "WFC bilingual" document will let a Wordfast Classic / Trados Workbench user update their TM.

You would only want to send a TMX if that memory only contains translations done for that particular client, and nothing else.
