Thank you for your input. This is a longer story than you might think. Please read the following threads:

In the latter Yasmin Moslem, support specialist of Wordfast promised that WFP4 would support 64 bit Linux.
My biggest problem is the unbridgeable difference between the promised and the real features of Wordfast Pro.
Promise:
"The #1 standalone translation memory tool for any platform"
Reality:
Wordfast has never supported 64 bit OS Linux. And it seems that it will not be for a long time.
If your build up a marketing strategy on the platform independent nature of your product, then you should develop it for all the main computer platforms (Win, Mac, Linux). So simple.
