Topic: Is it possible to update a Wordfast Classic TM automatically using Trados?

Post title: It is feasible
How about simply asking the customer to send you THEIR Trados TM in TMX format, and use that TM?
Or did the customer simply insert the changes without going through Trados?
In such a case, 2 changes per file multiplied by 80 files: that is 160 changes.
It seems feasible to me, but certainly not free of charge, unless of course the customer can show that your choices were wrong.
I'd quote 1 hour, maybe 2, to insert the changes at your hourly rate.
At any rate, that is simpler than anything else I can think of, including attempting to align 80 files!

I use Wordfast Classic, version 6.13 and recently completed a translation of roughly 15,000 words, comprising 80 different files, for an agency client. The agency made an average of 2 changes per file to my translations and they are now asking me to update my Wordfast TM to reflect these changes. The only way I can see this would be possible would be to go into the Wordfast TM and make all the updates manually. However, this risks being extremely time-consuming. Or is there a way I could ask the agency to run my Wordfast TM through Trados and thus make the updates automatically?
Many thanks in advance. [/quote]
