Hi Lucia,

Have you tried Ctrl+Shift+: and then pressing A to add umlaut A? For upper case do Ctr+Shift+: to activate umlaut combo and the press Shift+A.

FYI, I have the same problem with the German Umlaut "Ä".
WP4 doesn't get it, not even from dictation software. I have to use small "ä" and then uppercase it by using a shortcut.
A fix sure would be nice... [/quote]
