That is really annoying and time-consuming. From a linguistic standpoint I never understood why this is given so much importance, in any tool, MemoQ etc.

When I translate into German, I don’t care if my source language is Brazilian or European Portuguese.

As a general input, I would like to ask the developers to keep it as simple as possible.

Like in translations: the simpler the language, the more complex the content I can express. The simpler my tool, the more I can focus on the actual translation work.
