It’s up to you, but AFAIK you should be able to revert to any version of WFP3: TMs etc. have kept the same format.

No idea, I’m not in charge of WFP development. As John said, the "culprit" is a third-party component used by WFP, so fixing it is not in Wordfast’s own hands.

There was one specific issue related to El Capitan, which was resolved with 3.4.6 and newer:

Otherwise, it depends on the version of OS X you are currently using. If you’re upgrading from an older (less security-crazy) version of OS X, you may have to do refer to these two links:

Actually, the first one may no longer be relevant with the latest WFP, which now uses Java 8 AFAIK.
