Converting table to Wf TM

Yesterday a client sent me a Excel file with a glossar for a translation job. The problem was that the columns for source and target were no simple word lists but there were whole sentences and even groups of sentences in single cells which needed to be split. There were also many false splits which had to be removed.
After I had copied the columns into Word I edited the file manually so that every row would be a reasonable segment for translation.
I then attempted to convert this file into a Wordfast TM using Plustools. I failed many times. Somehow +Tools managed to mix up my rows and introduced false splits, even though I selected "Do not segment...".

I then had to do the conversion manually.

I opened the tm.txt file which +tools had created.
I converted it to a table with tab delimiter and saved it as TM.docx. There were 21 columns.
I copied the source column from my table into the source column of the TM.docx.
I copied the target column from my table into the source column of the TM.docx.
I converted the table of the TM.docx into text with tab delimiters and saved it in txt-format.
I loaded the TM.txt file into Wordfast Classic and re-organised it.

I started translation.
